ADA and Accessibility

Wheelchair user logo on a keyboarkBalboa Park Holistic Wellness Center is committed to making our electronic and information technologies accessible to individuals with disabilities by meeting or exceeding the requirements of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act (29 U.S.C. 794d), as amended in 1998. Section 508 is a federal law that requires agencies to provide individuals with disabilities equal access to electronic information and data comparable to those who do not have disabilities, unless an undue burden would be imposed on the agency.

We have done our best to meet or exceed standards outlined in WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) 2.0 by improving the contrast on our pages, including closed captioning on our videos, making our forms accessible, being sure our images contain appropriate alt tags, and more. We are a small business and do all of our website maintenance ourselves. We want everyone to have access to the information on our site as well as the services in our clinic and have worked hard to ensure accessibility.

If you use assistive technology (such as a screen reader, eye tracking device, voice recognition software, etc.) and have difficulty accessing information on the Balboa Park Holistic Wellness Center website, please contact us at at lisa@balboaparkholisticwellnesscenter.com and provide the URL (web address) of the web page you tried to access, the problem you experienced, and your contact information so we can assist you.
